The fast-handling and quick-shooting FN SCAR 16S is upgraded with Non-Reciprocating Charging Handles. The new, dual charging handles enable any shooting position, grip style or optic choice, ensuring any braced or barrier-contact position shoots flawlessly. A rugged, monolithic upper receiver with MIL-STD-1913 rail provides space for rail-mounted accessories, and a folding buttstock fits any shooter with adjustable length of pull and cheek rest height.
The FN SCAR 16S features a new bolt carrier assembly with NRCH that reduces felt recoil and accommodates various optics and shooting positions. Its short-stroke gas piston operation ensures reliability, while the cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, free-floating barrel with compensator delivers accuracy and durability. Glad to see they had some Scars in stock after FN discontinued the 16, 17, and 20. Scar 16 arrived in perfect condition as expected. Great customer service. This was my first time buying a firearm online as opposed to the local, familiar gun shop that had none of these rifles in stock from their distributors.
